Take up the White Man’s burden–
Send forth the best ye breed–
Go bind your sons to exile
To serve your captives’ need;
To wait in heavy harness,
On fluttered folk and wild–

In patience to abide,
To veil the threat of terror

White Man
Do you believe that Filipinos are the white man’s burden when they came here in our country in late 1898? Kung ako ang tatanungin, hindi. Because sila ang nag pahirap sa mga Pilipino noong sakop pa tayo ng mga Amerikano. Sino ba talaga ang mas dakila, ang mga dayuhan na siyang nag pukol at nanira sa reputasyon ng mga Pilipino? O ang mga Pilipinong guerilla na nakikipaglaban at pumapatay para mabawi ang nanakaw na kalayaan? Noong idiniklara ang unang Philippine Independence sa Cavite el Viejo kinilala ba ito ng Amerika? Hindi bagkus sila ang panibagong sumakop sa atin. Ano ba ang tamang dipinasyon ng Nasyonalismo? Ang labis na pagmamahal sa bayan na nagagawa ng sumakop ng ibang lugar at ituring itong hindi sibilisado at kanila DAW itong tuturuan upang maging sibilisado na ang pinaka dahilan naman lang talaga ay pagtatanim sa isip ng mga tao na mas magalisng sila, ang produkto nila upang sila ay ating tangkilikin o ang Nasyonalismong handang ipagtangol ang bayan kahit anong magyari sa lahat ng aabuso at mang-aapi dito? White Man’s Burden, is one of the good example of literary pieces that discreminates Filipinos. Ituring ba naman tayong Half devil and Half Child? Hindi natin problema kung sila ay magpakasakit sa pag tuturo sa atin, sila ang pumunta dito at walang awang pinag papapatay ang mga rebeldeng Pilipino na nagnanais lamang ng kalayaan. Sinabi pa nila kung paano DAW pahirapan ng mga Pilipino ang mga Amerikano, halimbawa nito, iginagapos daw sila at inililibing ng buhay at ang nakalabas lang ay ang ulo na malapit sa bahay ng langgam at hayaang kagatin sila ng mga ito hanggang unti-unting mamatay, pangalawa, ang mga nadakip daw na mga sundalong Amerikano ay pinuputulan ng testicles at ipinapakain sa mayari. Pero mariing kinundina ito ang RED Cross at sinasabing walang patunay na nangyari ang mga ito at hindi totoo. Kung tutuusin nga sila ang labis na nagpahirap sa atin, nang-abuso sa atin, at lumapastangan sa ating inang bayan. Kala mo si Hitler lang ang gumamit ng mga Concentration Camps? Pati rin ang mga Amerikano, marami ang mga namatay.
